Jawad describes himself as a "third culture human," and brings a unique perspective to his role as an Account Manager and Software Support specialist at Bettersource. Born in Pakistan, Jawad spent his teenage years in Montreal, Canada, and pursued higher education in Bangkok, Thailand, before returning to Pakistan to work remotely. With over two years at Bettersource, he supports customers across three continents in his current role, tackling software challenges and ensuring seamless operations with a focus on agility.
Jawad’s journey with Bettersource began through a friend’s recommendation, leading to a smooth onboarding process that set him up for success. His role involves constant internal and external interactions, making him feel as though he’s working in a bustling office from the comfort of home. Jawad appreciates the supportive HR team, whose regular check-ins help him focus on his work without worry.
Outside of work, Jawad unwinds with hobbies like cooking Thai and Pakistani dishes, gardening, and exploring history. His advises aspiring remote workers to embrace challenges and time management to unlock personal and professional growth.
